Absolutely. No Americans with STEM degrees are hardly ever looking for work... They already have great jobs. It is so much easier to hire an American- the continual work that goes into hiring and keep an H1B holder is staggering, but there are virtually none in the market available.
For every job we post you might have 5% applying that are citizens.
We have ARTIFICIALLY suppressed the domestic supply of STEM workers by importing scabs. We would have US citizen in droves majoring in STEM if we stopped the H-1B vise. YOU A AN IDIOT as well as a traitor.

You already know this but there is a pay level that would address this, partly right away, and more so in the long run. And I am not going to argue with you about that. I imagine that your idea of microeconomics is limited to your own income and outlay.
Second, by not being in there competing with these foreign people (who constantly communicate and share only among themselves including those not even sited at the same company - disastrous to projects and businesses) you are part of the same disgusting lazy know-nothing culture that steers young people into soft degrees, marketing and other bullshit, instead of technical material.
