I always thought HA was lame.

It borrowed a lot from old Three Stooges shorts.

Child starts often have a hard time in adulthood.

For me nothing beats A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim.

My favorite version too.

It was an ok movie. I never thought of it as a Christmas classic, even though it takes place at Christmastime.

I was very disappointed in Home Alone 2, Lost in New York. It was simply the same plot again. And the willing suspension of disbelief needed, such as a little kid checking into a hotel with his dad’s credit card, was a bit too much to believe.

There’s a message?! Yeah I don’t think so. It’s a cute movie, but not that great. Better than the soppy lame Christmas movies, but not top tier.

Quite correct. HA2 takes place in New York. That's the Donald in post #17 giving Kevin directions inside the Plaza Hotel.

I stand corrected.

I need to give that one a rest.
My favorite Christmas movie is The Bishop’s Wife.

Not a fan. I found Mac to be annoying as hell, and the movie to be very violent for a children’s movie, although the sequel was even more violent.
