https://ibb.co/09vCWpC I was surprised to see over 150k patriots already massing at that time between the Ellipse and the Washington Monument. Chilly and a bit damp with a biting wind that held for the entire day an atmosphere that was to portend the hours to come.

Shortly after establishing a viewing spot near a trumpotron the service tech assigned to the trailer box of audio/visual was accosted by a what looked like an ex-military boy gone bad. This mid-thirties toned man truly wanted to take on the world. Having no clue what his beef was with the operator or the others that came to the techs defense after a 15 minute bravado belch the guy slipped away into the crowd that by now was huge.

Minutes turned into hours of pushing and shoving sprinkled with dirty looks and threats. The crowd was hostile right from the start. Certainly not nearly as warm and inviting as the other Trump Rallies I attended before.

Speaker after speaker spoke....and the crowd was thrilled but there was indeed an undertone this not why many were there. They wanted the Capitol and frankly so did I

By the time POTUS took the podium I had seen 4 and a half hours of of humanity pass in front of my eyes the last two hours of which was slowing to the march of sardines towards their tin can. Most every tree in the area were full our feathered Trumpsters thought to be highly endangered.

Lucky for me a wayward female antifa and her bicycle were locked in this canned sea directly and pressingly in front of me. Turned out, by the fact she was extremely out of numbers she played very nice for the entire hour she was entrapped. I offered her 20.00 so she could may go out and buy a new helmet as the one she had would not afford her any protection if she did take a dump on her bike. She refused but graciously.

Finally the masses were moving as Trump finished his address. All in all....two people rushed to the ER. 5 people with panic attacks brought on by the cloistered nature of the crowd. Countless other hostile combovers and my giving of newly purchased cheap gloves to a young lady that forgot to check the forecast, I was on my way down to the river.

The long march to congress was paining on old leg muscles that were stood on with limited movement for the last 5 hours. Looking at the others making the trek i took comfort in seeing other eyes displaying the same distress. Half way along the path a word pass around that the police were authorized to us non-lethal means to stop the hoard. Odd for at that time I don't believe anyone had made it there.

As we made it to the reflecting pool the fist tear gas and flash bangs could be seen at the main stair case. It energized the marchers like nothing ever could. If you want someone to blame for the behaviour that was to transpire....yeah that kinda was a spark.

I made by way to the courtyard area behind the Capitol Bldg where at first myself and a handful had made it. Riot police formed there almost immediately and proceeded to use the porch access to swing around to the front steps. I tried rather forcefully to follow them as to of course document their progression as they seemed quite determined. I was asked to turn back and I did so begrudgingly.

Turning back I forwarded my attention to a crowd gathering at the main rear stair case. Police were on the veranda and for the most part though loud the situation was contained and the scattered police responding to the area were cordial and non-excited.

Throughout the next half hour pods of Patriots made there way into the capitol unobstructed and perhaps even invited. Some would come back out in full on tear gas induced convulsions. Other groups were allowed to return unscathed. Odd thing is whoever was gassing did so without regard to the fellow LEO's as they were coming out left and right in full distress.

I went to the House service entrance next that is when i heard the shot. A few minutes later a gurney with a yound lady being feverishly attended to was rushed by directly in front of me. Blood was gushing from neck even then. I remember looking up and seeing a marcher coming up to the Capitol Police that led the passing and shouting something fierce as to how the hell they could have shot her.

The crowd there became enraged. How the building did not go up in flames is beyond me. That was the difference to me. What could have gone down would have oh so much worse.

From there till the time i left i made rounds to near the press area and back to the courtyards that filled with other groups. It was surreal. As I was heading back to the service steps I was met on my way by none other than the famed Black Hebrew Israelites of the Covington KY fame. Around 20 of them, one by one passed by and as they were I looked one in the eyes and stated...that this will not be a good idea guys. To that he replied Look what you have done to our City. You cant make this stuff up.

I left as the FBI in full fatigues were assembling to overtake the building and secure it.

Folks these people would have done what they did without Trump in fact...the word Trump is no longer a surname. It is a movement.

You Freepers on here casting shame...I can not stress enough how very ignorant you are. Not only as to what transpired yesterday but your continuing flaws of listening to what others tell you to think. It is in my opinion "first blood" event for what i felt and saw yesterday...it was obvious our Government is no longer.

I am open to any questions and copy paste those links to pictures...maybe later tonight i will get them into comments.

On a side note i penned this while doing my normal tasks of the day so plenty of starts and stops...but I tried being as thorough and honest with the English language as I could.

I am very interested in this part of your story. Could you expand on this?

Thanks for the narrative account.
Seen a couple of others & it really helps with the bigger picture.

I’m curious about your specific take on why the crowd seemed less friendly then previous Trump rally crowds. Another first person account specifically notes that people were typically very polite. They said they’d even dropped things a couple of times, and before they could pick them up, someone else already had and was handing it back.

Do you think it possible that the portion of the crowd you got in with was higher percentage infiltrators? How do you read it?

Thanks for being there. We fight or we to some degree surrender. I think those at the Capitol were doing good at least so far as I know about it.

Thank you for the report.

I was there yesterday. I got in line around 6am for the WH Ellipse and the line was already wrapped entirely around the Washington Monument. After about two hours of slowly moving, we realized we weren't going to get into the Ellipse so grabbed a spot by the Jumbotron outside the main area.

Cold and windy the entire day. I should have dressed warmer. Just before Trump was scheduled to speak at 11, Rudy took the stage and pumped us up. He and the Constitutional lawyer gave us tremendous hope that the election fraud was about to be blown wide open.

Trump was then over an hour late speaking. Not a good sign. Then when he kept saying that he "hoped" Pence would do the right thing at the Capitol, the tone of the crowd started to change a bit. After Trump's speech, the entire mass of people started heading to the Capitol. I got in line on Constitution Ave and took about 45 minutes to reach the left side of the Capitol.

I knew right away something was off. There were flash-bangs and people were running over barriers and occupying the bleachers where the Inaugurations are held. It was difficult to get news because there was virtually no bandwidth for cell phones. I couldn't get a Tweet out for hours, never mind coming here to FR.

I never went into the Capitol but stood on the perimeter watching all that went on. Around 4pm, the tear gas and flash-bombs went off in earnest and people started fleeing the scene. I figured it was time to get going so we headed to the Federal Triangle Metro station and got out of town to where my car was parked (Tyson's Corner, VA). Then a long drive back to the NYC area. Didn't get home until nearly 1am.

I was then up at 6am for work and put in a 12 hour day trying to catch up from yesterday and deal with today's incoming. So I am exhausted and about to go to bed. But wanted to post at least this.

I will likely post a full account of my day but need some time. Tomorrow will be another hell day from work and then I will have the weekend to decompress some.

Will end that at least 99.5% of the people there were great people, real Americans. Not the "violent protesters" that the MSM are portraying us as. And people on this board should not judge those that were there and got caught up in the moment by entering the Capitol and making some noise.

Aside from the horrible outcome and Pence's betrayal, it was an incredible day. Trump started a movement and this is only the beginning.

We arrived there at approx. just before 7 a.m. (walkway behind ellipse) which filled up very rapidly. Mayor Bow Wow had already pressured several coffee shops (frequented by leftists) to close in order to keep Trump supporters out.

People were still streaming in at 12:00 noon. The sound quality for speakers was poor where we were standing and there was a doppler effect going on with sound bouncing off the trees. At one point it appeared that the mike was cut off on a female speaker for about a minute.

This was the first rally we attended since we are from upstate NY and of course, the Prez was not going to waste his time in NY (or any other solid blue state). Everyone was chatty and cordial. It was quite chilly as the wind started to pick up. Sea of Trump flags everywhere and others climbed the nearby trees to get a better view.

Yes we were all disgusted that the election fraud was being summarily discarded by the swamp, however not surprised. Only a small handful were shouting “Insurrection.” We were more disgusted by the stream of turncoat RINOs which are still jumping ship even as we speak. Most of the crowd were fully aware of possibly being confronted by pAntifa and BLM, Inc. You were not allowed neither backpacks, flags, signs etc., in the main stage area (Mayor Bow Wow seeing that we couldn’t hold a real rally?) so most of us chose to just stand outside the Ellipse waving our flags and posters.

At the close of President Trump’s speech, there were again a few that were vocal about establishing Marshal Law and began to leave voicing a bit of disgust. Since I am 60 yrs old and my husband is 52, very physically robust yet having taken a pounding from decades of construction and sports, decided to walk to our hotel first and then see if we could make it back to the capitol. President Trump closed with “let’s walk down Pennsylvania Ave. and gather in front of the Capitol” (not breech the capitol).

As we were walking back to our hotel, a young man on the other side of the street appeared to be running toward the capitol holding a flag and saying “they have broken into the capitol, let’s go!” We continued to our hotel in Chinatown, which had basic fake news cable. All the cable channels, of course, were blaring away that “domestic terrorists, rioters, blah blah were storming the capitol.” Then they conflated the rally with the handful of people who made it into the capitol. We both rolled our eyes so high I think they are still stuck. The shooting began and then Mayor Bow Wow issued several emergency alerts on cell phones that kept going off establishing her 6 p.m. curfew. A big show of force whizzed by our hotel window with boatloads of police, fire squad, etc. Sirens wailed throughout the night and finally subsided around midnight.

We need to return to a citizen legislature as the founding fathers originally intended, rather a farmer with common sense than a lawyer with self interest.

Do you know when Pres. Trump, once learning of the violence at the Capitol said, "Respect the police. They are our friends. Please go home." I don't know if he was still at his rally or where, but I saw him say something to that effect on TV.

It was very presidential, but I haven't seen it shown since.

Were there Anti-fa organizers causing havoc to create a false-flag image that the Trump movement was a violent threat?
