Good job, you’ve got Senator Lankford figured out, halfway.
From the intrusion into the Capitol, fast forward to the outcome of it.
This was the end game. Lankford visibly and conspicuously jumps out in front of the so-called commission plan, with great fanfare from the media.
Just about the time he takes to the floor, it all gets interrupted, and... Golly shucks darn it, I just hate it when that happens.
Now, today, stay tuned. Now Lankford is in position to make the town hall circuit back home, every appearance heavily populated with his core constituency.
“Gee, I tried, I really did try to get it all out in the open, but those people broke in, and since the right wing violence the only reasonable thing to do is to just forget the whole thing.”
And it will play in Ada, Oklahoma. It’s OK for me to say that, BTW. Not all will be suckers for it, but enough will.
Lankford has it both ways again, and the Republican party is a cancer and it must cease to exist.
You have my surmised implication wrong.
I was not implicating Lankford.
I WAS surmising the possibility that false flag instigators planted among the “Trump supporters” knew THEY would interrupt the Senate proceedings and THEY figured what the outcome of that interruption would be - many Senators would not get their comments about fraud allegations in the Senate record, and Trump would be blamed for THEIR violence. They were planted to do what the Dim’s own designs had wanted done - blame Trump for “right wing” violence and in a big way.
Yes, you and I are in 100 percent agreement about all you just said.
Just don’t tell anyone I said this...
“Don’t be surprised” should it someday come to light that Lankford was a secret beneficiary of the rise. As in, let’s say, he wasn’t exactly surprised by it...
Golly darn...
Rise s/b ruse.
I still don’t really get your meaning, calling Lankford “a secret beneficiary”.
To me that implicates Lankford with what might have been the rioters intent, which I was not suggesting, nor in agreement with.
That might have had something to do with it.
Don’t enjoy having to emphatically explain it, though. Nothing personal.
Hear me now and believe me tomorrow, the guy is a political agnostic opportunist representing a mostly conservative state.
“the guy is a political agnostic opportunist representing a mostly conservative state”
stick to plain speaking instead of your own coded phrases
Yes. I was referring to the ‘sound, logical, common-sense measures’.
I meant to do this a couple of days ago but got distracted by work...
Sequoyah101 wins the thread, and our Junior US Senator shall henceforth and hereafter be known by said moniker. :)
Yesterday, actually... :)
That is how I address him when I write his “lordship”. Spinator Howdy Doody:
I usually start the message with something like:
“You really are an idiot aren’t you?” or “Don’t you ever get embarrassed for being so inferior in a place where inferiority is so common?”
