Thx! I plan on checking it out.
How is this legal?
CDMA phones have a GPS receiver inside to tell the cell tower where the phone is located. The cell tower knows exactly it is. The distance from tower to phone is calculated, then the tower sends a message to the phone to adjust its transmit power such that the signal of all phones talking to that tower a nominally at an equal signal power level. That make the CDMA decoding most reliable.
The obvious corollary is that CDMA phones are dirt simple to track. The competing techonology, TDMA, locates your phone using the round trip time for a "ping". Two towers are required to get a "fix". 3 towers is best. The FCC requires that location to be good within 50 meters for E911 location determination. The lat/lon coordinate can be derived from the 3 ping data (TDOA) or two towers (AOA). New Z-axis (elevation) standards call for 3 meter vertical resolution. That applies to figuring out what floor a handset is on for a 911 call.

This is an incredibly exciting time to be a tech entrepreneur. More than half of our country (& world) is looking for an alternative to
@Apple
and
@Google
@elonmusk
could overtake them both—virtually overnight— if he announced an E-phone with its own operating service.

the future is yours if you want to do it. Tech creators are now being told they have to censor millions and millions of people—including a sitting President— if they want to exist in the Apple and Google store.
We hate both of these companies.
Give us an alternative.
He jumped on Parler and started blathering about executing the Vice President
You have a better idea for traitors? You know Trump brought back military tribunals, hangings and fireing squads don’t you?
Like most of you, in times like this, I am helped by asking myself, âÂÂWhat would Karl Marx say?â Mr. Marx would say, this battle between big money vs. the power of government has been going on for centuries. And, guess what little guy, you dont count. Big money eventually wins.
In 1716, the Bank of France was formed. Between 1793 and 1799, during the French Revolution, many in government, Royalty back then, had their heads cut off. Who kept their heads, the bankers. After going thru many reorganizations, the institution that was the Bank of France is effectively still in existence. The lesson: Capital has the real power, not the government.
Look at all institutional amassers of controlling amounts of capital as being banks. While many provide a product to consumers, their real power is having and controlling large amounts of capital. Insurance companies are banks. Insurance companies dont care whether they make money on policies, payouts, etc. They use their accumulated capital like a bank. Investments, loans, etc and can direct the flow of large sums of money wherever and to whomever will enable them to accumulate more. Your rates go up when their investments are bad, not when somebody sues McDonalds over boiling hot coffee.
OK, who is accumulating capital (power) today. Ah yes, Amazon, Google, FB, etc. These companies do provide a product, like insurance companies do, but big tech's real power is....controlling capital, not selling books with free shipping. Big Tech companies are just the newest banks. Like Louis the XVI learned, these new banks are more powerful than governments.
So, why dont we get some government to pass a law to stop them, or get everyone to cancel their Amazon Prime account? Sure, that'll work. These new banks really don't give a hoot about your politics, Biden's, Trump, etc. Sorry, they just dont care. What DO they care about? Like the Bank of France, keeping their heads and accumulating more capital.
In the 1720s, the Bank of France sorta disintegrated during an economic collapse, but itsâ capital's power continued to percolate in smaller entities.
By 1800, the financial power in France was in the hands of about ten to fifteen banking houses, mostly from Switzerland. Tiring of royal power, these bankers were deeply involved in the agitations leading up to the French Revolution. They got the French government literally beheaded, but when the revolutionary violence got out of hand, the banks orchestrated the rise of Napoleon, whom they regarded as the restorer of order. As a reward for their support, Napoleon, in 1800, gave the bankers guess what...a monopoly over French finance by giving them control of the new Bank of France.
Since 2015, big tech, big capital, has done historically well under Trump. Sorry, but they've done quite a bit better than you, even with the little tax cuts. Since Nov. 3d, big capital has merely been humoring Trump. So what happened to cause the Twitter cut offs, etc? It has nothing at all to do with socialism, the border wall, Biden, etc. On January 6th a revolution DID occur. In an admittedly sudden way, these big tech - big banks recognized in minutes that, now, they could accumulate more capital - power without Trump. So, off with his head!
So, now what do we do? Well, what I'm gonna do is recognize there's nothing new to see here and try to keep from getting ground up in the slow moving cogs of history. As I see it, we really cant change much re the big power battles between governments and banks. So, I'd recommend, sit back, take deep breaths, remove your shoes, do good around you, and laugh as much you can with those you love and who love you. If you believe, do God's work.
Otherwise...hey Karl, pass me that joint!!!
“Yep, not being on Twitter won’t be an option, they simply won’t hire you without a Twitter account to check on.
And just not posting anything or not saying anything bad won’t be enough, you must proclaim your love of Big Brother, and denounce anyone who doesn’t.”
You bet it will.
“What is not mandatory is forbidden!”
Amazon now requires you to wear BLM Shirts at work...
I wonder if FreeRepublic has the capacity to host PARLER?
