many of the career employees of the government departments and agencies are dyed-in-the-wool democrats (progressives, globalists) and have been in their own ways working against POTUS since he came into office. They are like termites and can only be removed by eight years of constant work by a dedicated exterminator (Trump). Every Republican President has had to deal with them but the termites have always persevered.

A. You can't hire people who don't want the job. I think now we understand why a person already in a succesful career wouldn't want to give that up to face the arrows that would come their way.
B. Basically Mitch told Trump that anyone not on his approved list would be DOA in the Senate.

Sometimes it’s an ampersand instead of question mark. Removing that stuff removes click “impressions” and reduces clout for twitter, facebook etc. Something we should all be practicing.
