I have read that blood type ...may play a role..., with people who have type O blood seeming to survive better according to early thoughts on the issue. Don’t know how extensively they have looked into the possibility, but the article was posted on fr awhile back...

There is not a lot of flu. Probably because of the mitigation factors. Influenza is harder to catch than Covid.

There are 925 laboratory confirmed cases of flu this season so far. However, flu season peaks as late as March in the US. While cases are currently very low, they may pick up later in the flu season. If they don't, it's worth examining why they're so low. Changes in behavior are likely a big part of it.

Midwest City with about a 300k metro area including suburbs. Interestingly enough, the flu has miraculously been cured in our region! 0 Tamil flu prescriptions this year! No one knows whether to praise God, or doubt Lord Fauci and the CDC. (We all know though...)

Our facility too. We’ve had to open 2 surge ICUs, one clean, one dirty. Our Pacu capacity has shrunk from 36 beds to 9.

Actually quite the useful map. i am surprised. Shows that nothing is happening except for california. Most large hospitals around here are under 10% hospital beds covid. It looks like this chana infection likes the warmer areas. The north looks pretty good based on the map.
