We could ask what Robert Downey, Jr. thought of free marijuana—at age eight.Was marijuana legal when he was first given it? If not, then criminalization did nothing to help him.

This "need to share" mind-altering drugs is very troubling.
I grew up with only negative outcomes--including oxygen-dependency and subsequent deaths of acquaintances.
NONE of my friends or U.S. Navy shipmates were partakers of modern mind-altering drugs. (Whose history on our Republic's survival and on human psyche is still unwritten).

My experiences have been otherwise: I’ve used marijuana in the past and known many others who have, and none of us had serious negative consequences, healthwise or otherwise.
