Well, at least he’s being honest about this. The goal is NOT to stop Trump, it’s to stop political opposition. To stop We the People from having the freedom to choose our own elected officials. The goal is to only allow “approved” people from seeking political office. Of course, they want to set the standard.
Well Mr. Anti-democracy Blumenthal would know all about tyrants, since all tyrants control who the people are permitted to support or not.

If found guilty, the penalty should be a firing squad. Line him up with Tom Harkin if that red SOB is still alive, and Al Hubbard too. Treason and “stolen valor” are crimes against America and those who did serve honorable, often at the expense of their lives.
Our coward, fake heroes and traitors deserve jail or death. Not to be elected to Congress or made media heros for their treason like Hubbard and Harkin performed.
