The hits keep coming, as I knew they would.
And Americans either are excited for the change, or just don’t care. Either attitude is toxic.
A handful of oligarchs should not be determining the curricula of millions of schoolkids.
Fed government has NO legitimate place in K-12. None.
>>More than 300 “leading scholars”
Are Noam Chomsky or Bill Ayers among them?
Or are iPhones and private jets and thousand dollar bottles of wine all they care about?
We know now why the statues had to be destroyed.

Don’t forget Howard Zinn.
My wife and I (HS Grads in early 1970s) were debating why our 40 something year old kids are such Libs. You know that old saying, you a liberal till you get your first pay check. Well these kids are 20 years into there professional lives earning some serious bucks, so why?
We came to the conclusion that when we went thru HS some 50 years ago, they actually taught history, American Govt, and I even had Comparative Political Systems (Capitalism, Socialism, Communism) and it had a certain USA is great propaganda spin to it, and why shouldn’t it? It is OK to be proud of your homeland. Nobody will fight & die for their country like our parents did in WW2 if they think their country sucks.
We agreed that our kids did not get this type of education and that is why they are Libs.
“We agreed that our kids did not get this type of education and that is why they are Libs.”
They got the opposite. America was illegitimately founded, and has been a force for evil for years. Coming from people of authority, (teachers), it’s a powerful message.
Unity in hating America, that’s the goal here
It is time for the racist Bidet to get out of the White House with its historic and ongoing racist color of white....
Enough is enough!
(paint it purple...or rainbow...)
The author rants incessantly and deservedly about the provenance of this new initiative.
And says nothing of the proposed curriculum itself.
Just like those he attacks, he elevates where it came from above what it says.
Check out this other thread:
Most college students think America invented slavery, professor finds
“For 11 years, Professor Duke Pesta gave quizzes to his students at the beginning of the school year to test their knowledge on basic facts about American history and Western culture.
The most surprising result from his 11-year experiment? Students’ overwhelming belief that slavery began in the United States and was almost exclusively an American phenomenon, he said.”

Destroying America - It's THE PLAN...
Whenever somebody says we invented slavery, I ask who built the Pyramids? And my next question is who sold the slaves from Africa as many were spoils of war.
"On a few articles of more general and necessary use, the suppression in due season will doubtless be right, but the great mass of the articles on which impost is paid is foreign luxuries, purchased by those only who are rich enough to afford themselves the use of them. Their patriotism would certainly prefer its continuance and application to the great purposes of the public education, roads, rivers, canals, and such other objects of public improvement as it may be thought proper to add to the constitutional enumeration of federal powers [emphases added].”—Thomas Jefferson : Sixth Annual Message to Congress
"The power to regulate manufactures, not having been confided to congress, they have no more right to act upon it, than they have to interfere with the systems of education, the poor laws, or the road laws, of the states [emphases added]. Congress is empowered to lay taxes for revenue, it is true; but there is no power to encourage, protect, or meddle with manufactures." —Joseph Story, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1, Commentaries on the Constitution 2
”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.
If patriots would work with their local and state governments to put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers, then the states would ultimately find new revenues for schooling and a lot of other things.
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
Yes, but this isn’t what kids are being taught in school.
And they have no idea who sold the slaves in Africa. I think they mostly assume that white Europeans went to Africa and captured them somehow as part of “evil” colonialism.
National Curriculum Goals = Comrade Training
Democrats working fast as the can before the 2022 elections to alter as much as possible.
Lord knows our kids don't have access to meaningful education material for their children.
