I just planted things like peas and beets and turnips. I put ez straw on them and I covered them with Reemay so it doesn’t all wash away. (Raised beds.) Hopefully I can remove it Monday and let it breathe and get some son.
There hasn’t been global warming for years now. It is global climate change.
That is much more open.
Two weeks ago Mississippi had record cold and snow. Today was partly cloudy in the 80s.
Hummm. Sun...not Son...
Let it Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

As good a bet as any is to go to the NWS page for a specific location, then go to the “Hourly Weather Forecast” (graph) and add up amounts for the time period(s) in question.
For example, for Denver:

and,
I also ALWAYS consult the forecast discussion. In this case:
Plenty of experienced human judgement is still involved. (And uncertainties usually expressed.)
NWS-Denver still seems to be moderately impressed.
I'm thinking the time change helped to bust the apocalyptic forcast. Due to moving the clocks forward, we had one less hour of accumulating snow to deal with.
"Wait 'til they getta load of me."
Keeping an eye on this.
I’m loving this. Got home Saturday evening in the wet streets and don’t have to be back to work until Wednesday night.
Just sitting in my MyPillow PJs being lazy watching movies while my Sons play videogames in their rooms.
Lol. I am, too. I thought it was gonna be a doozy on Saturday, but it turned into a bust. Still, work was cancelled Saturday morn and night...with pay!
Didn’t have to work Sunday anyway, but was expecting to have to go in today, but I got another reprieve with work cancelled again! Then off again normally on Tuesdays. So I’m getting frickin’ four days off in a row. Rare thing for me. I’m gonna be sad when it comes to an end early Wednesday morn. :( But you know what they say about all good things.
PS...I was super lazy all day on Sunday. Normally I like shoveling, but gave it up after about two mins. I gotta get on the ball for Monday and Tuesday and make good use of my time.
I’m glad you don’t have to drive in it.
I have a ‘99 Suburban (AKA: A GIANT TANK), but it’s always the OTHER drivers you have to worry about.
Yeah, I was scared about being caught up in it with work on Saturday. I was so relieved they shut down, but luckily that leg of the storm missed us anyway.
I was at work when the March 13th, 2019 one came in full force. I have never been so scared in a snowstorm. It took me three hours to get into my driveway. I need a shirt for what I went through. :) Plus I just have a little Japanese car. Not a behemoth like you have.
