Another step in the march to gun registration and confiscation in America.
So no cop bodyguards for the ruling elite?
Oh, well, I’m glad to see that at least they don’t think their panty-twisting, pearl-clutching wokeness transcends valid contracts. That alone is surprising.
Disgusting to see Virginia trending this way. The home of the NRA is being overrun by anti-gun lunatics. At one time I had hoped to eventually live in Virginia on the coast. Now it’s looking like a much less friendly place.
Aren’t they moving to Texas? Or, are they just reincorporating in TX (after exiting their NY corporation)?
Don’t most mass shootings occur in gun free zones?
Asking for a friend.
“Public comments before the vote appeared to lean in favor of seeing the city restrict guns at a time of spiking gun violence in some neighborhoods.”
...now watch that “spike” increase 3 fold! “Wha’ happen?”
Yep, BLM and Antifa.
Roanoke was once a fine place to work and live. Now it is striving to become the Asheville of Virginia. Burger in the Square though is a saving virtue.
The once great state of Virginia.
Will Gov. Northam wear something “special” to the gun grabbing celebrations over this stuff?
Feb.7, 2019 apology speech story:
Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam confirmed Friday he was in a racist yearbook photo showing one person dressed in blackface and another in the KKK’s signature white hood and robes, and apologized for “the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the hurt that decision caused then and now.”
Oh, Virginia. What happened to you? You were invaded and taken over.
There will always be the Texas Tavern (we hope.)
One of the best burgers around. Fortunately they are in the county.
Who knows. They’re a bit of a mess as an organization. I’m a much bigger fan of Gun Owners of America anyway. In terms of actual impact, they’ve been vastly more effective at advancing our rights. Alan Gura is an absolute rock star.
My point was just about the rapid decline of things in the state of Virginia. It’s such a shame to see a state that was so rock solid on gun rights crumbling before our eyes. It’s going to take binding precedents from the Supreme Court to pull them back from this path.

Translation:
” Here, you’re an easy target for the unlawful, who are disadvantaged by your lawful possession. Discrimination against the unlawful is hurtful. We need an UNLEVEL playing field to address this inequity. “
We all need to refer to car violence instead of car accidents in any discussions with friends and family.
No cars on public property. “Whose streets?” “Our streets!”
The right to keep and bear arms shall not be....
I know I heard something like that, somewhere.
I'm a nice looking responsible adult.
Was pulled over by police for tail light out, tag light out..etc...
Never once did they ask if I have a weapon in the car. I don't look the part...
I will carry no matter the laws....
I always went to the gun shows at the Salem Civic Center
For those who don’t know, Salem and Roanoke are basically the same city. Roanoke is one of the most dangerous cities in Va and Salem is one of the safest
