I wasn’t sure if I could do it, but it was not as hard as being the passenger and being a nervous wreck. I’m always better when I’m driving. LOL! Plus we had good weather both ways.

Did you and Gizmo have another fine day to get out and about?

We had some rain here but the main event has been north and west of us all day, causing a lot of flooding and damage. Now that’s bearing down on us and we’re about to get slammed with nasty storms.

I’ve been watching a storm chaser in Nashville and they are under water tonight. People are out in boats doing water rescues. I’d say it’s going on elsewhere because a lot of towns are flooded tonight.

WOW!!!!!! welll stay safe, Radu. I notice a lot of alerts out for TN right now.

I had some more after effects from the COVID booster shot yesterday morning. I had a headache and little bit of fever. I took a Tylenol and it all went away. I feel much better this morning.

We had some young ladies on horses at the lake who for some reason were way unsure about what they wanted to do. It made for a round go. I was about to let Gizmo to the rocks which he loves to do because they were headed into the lake but either they or the horses changed their minds and Gizmo ended up staring at them. You know how dogs are with horses.

So we didn't to do too much of that but we did have a great time out there.

She’s getting a little tired-looking, but my Bro says there is something I can use on the engine parts that will spruce her up nice.

Oddly enough, it’s called “rouge”! LOL!

So, while I may not be putting lipstick on a pig, I will definitely be putting rouge on a HOG.

Glad you and Gizmo were able to have a good time at the like, even with the interruptions.
And glad to hear you feel better now.

Luck was on our side this morning and the severe storm threat was cancelled before the ‘yeeha’ arrived. We still had a lot of lightning and torrential rains until a few minutes ago but no wind with the storms. It was pretty windy before they arrived though.
For now it’s quiet with a steady rain falling but it looks like we’ll get some more heavy rain and thunderstorms in a bit.

I feel bad for the folks north of us who are under water tonight. It’s a mess up there.

By looking at the map on LSC, the rain caught up with y’all. Hope it doesn’t flood [or a tornado happen] there! Just what you DON’T need!
