Btw, running the plate alone will not tell ya if the driver of any given vehicle has warrants. That’s why they often need the ID from the driver to run wants and warrants. And they can’t get the ID from the driver until AFTER they pull them over.

I always laugh when some poor guy is assigned patrol in some senseless murder district, where every other person on the street is a violent parolee, and they stick him a partner who’s 5’7 and 125 lbs. I’d politely tell them to take their job and shove it.
