As the previous commenters show, Pence has a lot of ground to make up with the Trump-supporting wing of the republican party. He could start by actively and eagerly supporting the primary opponents of Murkowski, Liz Cheney, and every other pro-impeachment republican vote in congress. That’s the price of admission, and if he’s serious, it’s not a high price.
I do not trust anyone in the GOP at the federal level....

A good idea if the right principles are united. We need to nationalize the election over issues, not slogans or personalities, as Newt did with the Contract With America in the 1990’s. I know Democrats who strongly agree with us on certain important issues. Don’t knock this just because Pence is suggesting it.
