Yes he was feared. I have read many books on the mob. Watched all the documentaries. The movies. In my humble opinion ,the most feared single person, Tommy “Karate” Pitera. A 9th degree black belt in martial arts, built like Mike Tyson, absolutely devoid of any conscience. After he killed, he dismembered including an innocent woman, he blamed for the death of his wife.
Tommy Karate. Sammy talks about him and said.....yeah, he was a real tough guy. And in the book about Tommy Karate.....one quote says.....”he scared the scary guys.”
And he’s still alive doing life. I think even Roy Demeo probably feared him. Gotti used Tommy Karate to kill Willy boy Johnson too.

You accused me of being an "internet tough guy" but nothing I said can even remotely be construed as trying to be tough.
You suggest I have to be (or have been) a cop to judge what everyone can see for themselves in the videos of the arrest. Which is what you are doing also even if your conclusion is the opposite. Are you a cop?
By suggesting I have to be a cop you are insinuating that I am judging all cops and that I must experience everything they do in all situations in order to judge this one interaction. Absurd to the highest degree.
My experience with an Alzheimer's victim is highly relevant. I know that they do not present in any way as someone who is high on drugs. They don't seem psychotic or schizophrenic or manic either. And they don't require force to deal with. (or respond well to which is another tell) And it doesn't take experience with dementia patients to see this it only requires an adult level of experience with people and some common sense.
Actively looking for these differences in people is something anyone authorized to use force should be looking for. That is nothing more than the bare minimum of responsibility.

Any 14 yr old of average build, average intellect and enough caring to try could have handled this lady. It starts with trying to converse and measuring the responses.
