Of course they come here to improve their lives, they wouldn't do it otherwise.
The question is at what cost to the quality of lives of Americans? Anyone allowed to come here should benefit America, otherwise they have no business being here. Illegals don't benefit America, they cost social services and compete against legitimate American workers for jobs.
Americans don't owe it to illegals to improve their lives, they can stay in their own crappy countries and improve them from within instead of coming here and destroying ours.
