At some point in my life, I would have said something like "Oh, come on. Really?"
At some point in my life, I would have opened my door to the FBI and invited them in, served them coffee, and asked them what they needed.
Now, I would demand to speak to my lawyer before inviting them in or meeting with them, no matter how small or insignificant the issue.
And I have long since viewed the FBI as a political entity beholden to Leftists, same as the intelligence services, and same as the Media.
It is perfectly within the normal scope of the FBI's operations now to act as an arm of the Democrat Party. It has been my observation for years that a Leftist of any stripe or profession is a Leftist before they are anything else:

Call me a conspiracy theorist but, I cant help but think this hacking and the reported tanker truck driver shortages are just the media covering this administration for the upcoming gas price explosion.

BTW: the big 3 are the stock market(must keep it up until the rug is pulled), energy(read oil/gas/fuel) prices must stay up to keep the market up, and the dollar must stay weak(it goes up, market goes down. The “transitory inflation” will be falsely blamed on oil/energy prices going up so the price of oil/energy must be kept up and pushed higher for that also. We both know where the Stagflation is coming from when we’ve seen trillions poofed out of thin air and see charts of money velocity at a bottom.

Of course this is also common to geekdom in general, but my "Spidey-Sense" is tingling over this one, especially after recent the news about a Federal Judge issuing an order allowing the FBI to alter private MS Exchange servers without notice.
However with all that said, its beyond idiotic to have mission critical systems which control physical assets running Windows while networked (private or otherwise).
