Time will tell.
Where is “HERE” ?
Just wondering ...
Well, I will be calling Ted Deutsch (Democrat Conressman) and congratulating him and the Biden/Harris Administration for effing up the country in about 100 days.
Well over 3 where I live. Most I ever saw was 3.99 under the puke W.
And why should this pipeline “incident” have any correlation to prices on the west side of the country that doesn’t rely on this pipeline? Theoretically, shouldn’t they decrease here as there is too much fuel available in Texas?
Am I alone in wondering if the Biden team is responsible? Another false flag? If that was true I wouldn’t be one bit surprised. I can imagine them cheering this event as another move in the Great Reset Games. In any case, no word from the Fraud in Chief? Or did I miss it?
Where did you see that?
Just convert it over to wood chips to make your gas. They did a lot of that during WWll.
Tomorrow I'm headed to a meeting at church in PA...will check our MD. gas price before I cross the state line...on Sunday in some areas of MD. gas was $2.96.9
Been rainy and cold in MD...and a freeze is forecast for Tues. thru Wed..so our furnace has been running for most of this new month of May.
The Colonial Pipeline attack comes as the Biden administration works to pass a $2.3 trillion infrastructure plan aimed at addressing, in part, America’s critical infrastructure vulnerabilities
The clerk at the local quickie mart was having a heck of a time keeping up with what was going on at their dozen pumps.
Heard him say, “I don’t understand. We knew about this on Saturday but everyone waits two days to panic”.
Really!? You have that from a reliable source do you? This morning around 0900 in North Carolina, I filled the first of three cars with Premium at $3.40 per gallon. I went home each time to switch vehicles I filled the second car also at $3.40 per gallon. I live less than five blocks from the Station. It was less than 20 minutes from the time I fueled the second car until I returned with the third car. As pulled up to the same pump, lo and behold, Premium had jumped to $3.60 in that time. That is a TWENTY Cents per gallon increase across all three grades, not a couple of cents.
Thanks “Liberty Daily”! I saw the big red banner saying a State of Emergency had been declared on the Eastern Seaboard due to anticipated gas shortages. I filled up in the morning, Common sense would indicate they were already three days behind in delivers so at a minimum there will be a short term lack of fuel. I immediately went to the station. No lines, all the pumps were working. I even filled a five gallon can just in case. By 8:00 pm lines at every station most of the pumps were out of gas and people were pumping regular gas into their 2021 cars because that is all that was left.
I was wondering the same thing. I recall something about the various boutique gas mixtures required in States like Illinois and California. When there is a shortage of regular fuel without all the additives, the Refinery’s do not process the boutique fuels and it creates shortages in those States that require it for their emission rules. That happen a while back in Illinois around 1995 or 1996 if I remember correctly. There was some issue with the fuel supply the refinery’s stopped producing the boutique fuel used in Illinois until the issue was resolved and we had a fuel shortage for about a week or so. I lived close to the Wisconsin State line so we just drove to Kenosha and fueled up.
Maybe that is what is happening here? I am just speculating.
Mr. GG2 filled my Honda at the Murphy’s by the Wal-Mart in Lilburn. $3.14 per gallon. God only knows what it will be today.
Modern precision valve trains won’t handle that. They will stick as soon as the engine cools and the wood-varnish turns to goo. I don’t think a valve train in any of the OHV or OHC era of the ICE could deal with wood gas, unfiltered.
Many new cars have fuel pressure sensors as well, and will not enable coils until the fuel rails meet some minimum specification of pressure.
Best use is everyone gets little reactors for their back yard (not nuclear, though that would be very cool), that convert plug power to gasoline from CO2 in the air.
Not efficient, but over time, you could get some clean go juice. If such a thing existed that would fit in your yard :)
Thanks for the on the scene report.
This is a real mess and I hope the people who support Biden will be unhappy now.
The end of the pipeline construction, the anti-fracking order, the return to reliance on foreign oil sources and other factors left no leeway when hackers hit.
I read an article where some idiot working with AAA predicted gas prices to rise 3 to 7 cents in Tennessee. I filled up last night. Price was up 10 cents this morning. I am sure it will be higher on the way home.
