I realize Ashli is a sensitive subject, but those involved were definitely role playing. There are a few frames that show one of the armed “riot cops” clearly cross-eyed. And among many other anomalies, a careful review of the publicly available videos show no individual demonstrating 1st responder training. Ashli was carelessly repositioned more than once. And at one point, her right hand is independently tucked under her buttocks.
FWIW, I’m not comfortable sharing my point of view on this event given the impression of indifference to Ashli. But a number of things don’t add up — and I have the skillsets to at least raise a flag. I’m happy to be proven wrong — but that would require technical arguments that have yet to surface.
Ashli may have been murdered, but I wouldn’t commit to that happening as a direct result of being shot at the scene in question.
