I absolutely agree. Even though I liked Connery because of his acting style with the sly smile, no one ever presented the dark side of a "license to kill" MI6 secret agent. All the rest were just smarmy comic book characters.

Daniel Craig is, by far, the best James Bond.

I like the harder-edged style of Craig after Moore and Brosnan, but I still like Connery the best. Craig still hasn't sold me on the Bond who stays out late playing chemin de fer at Le Cercle.

Actually I think most of the actors who have played Bond were pretty good, aside from Moore. It mostly depends on the movie the actor is in. Connery's last two official Bond movies, You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever are as bad as anything Moore starred in.
