The party leadership (Politburo) is running the nation. Biden is a figurehead.
Whatever the party leadership say is truth and the media works to support whatever the party leadership proclaims as truth.
Corporations bend to the will of the party leadership so they do not fall out of favor and get regulated out of existence or denied federal contracts.
Individuals who resist the “truth” from the party leadership are destroyed by the cancel culture, federal investigations or simple assault.
