Society has done a lot already to make the holiday celebration about Black Friday rather than Thanksgiving. This transition started a few years ago in schools with the break being called “fall break” rather than Thanksgiving break. I have always thought that Thanksgiving is a fairly neutral holiday. It’s not specified to whom you should offer thanks or if you even need to offer thanks or if you should just feel thankful for something.

I noticed GOOGLE started wiping religous holidays off their cell phone calendars last year.. but they had Indigenous Americans day!!

Consumer Day is my favorite time of year.
We put out the money tree, which my parents always told me doesn’t live in our backyard; then we drink hot chocolate and go around in groups singing Pink Floyd’s “Money.”
People are always happy to see us. :)
Make everything meaningless so you can take over a country easier.
Please, God, can we make Google, etc., STOP populating our calendars with Juneteenth, First Day of LGBTQ+ Pride Month, First Day of Hispanic Heritage Month, Indigenous Peoples’ Day (poor grammar), First Day of American Indian Heritage Month, Native American Heritage Day, First Day of Black history Month, First Day of Women’s History Month, First Day of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month?
It’s impossible (as far as I know) to delete this CRAP from the calendar.
This year I say we boycott consumer Day on black Friday and stay home with family. Then we’ll all say” we were scared of the Wuhan flu”.
I did this on election day and they lost their minds, did it again with the vaccine. I told them I didn’t want it because of Trump! Orange Man bad! I use their propaganda against them.
