Wher I grew up in Boston, there was a State Mental Hospital near our community.
We were always taught to steer clear of loons.
The loons are in Burlington, Montpellier, and Brattleboro. With lighter concentrations elsewhere.
I told my next door neighbor about the baby robin that was sitting on one of her porch chairs yesterday, and I told her she could look at the bird through her entryway windows without disturbing the bird and its mother.
So NATURALLY she walked out onto the porch...
