Ha ha ha…. Unicorn farts … that’s awesome
The Nacogdoches plant is over 230 miles from Austin and is fueled by the same wood chips used to manufacture OSB that is currently selling for over $30 per sheet. Green energy, what a bargain.
This particular plant uses wood chips. Who doesn’t find that ironic? We can’t have brown paper shopping bags that biodegrade or compost but we can burn wood, heat the place up in the middle of summer and put smoke/pollution into the air.
It’s only 80 inside the house right now with just a couple windows open and no a/c. Nothing is using power except this computer, 2 fans, one grow light for herbs and whatever plugged in appliances are pulling. Seriously want some tree hugging yahoo like Romney or Kerry to tell me I’m using too much electricity.
Liberal idiots. The two words go together like peas and carrots.
What choice? Just the one service and it’s hydro so no way in heck should we ever be deprived of electricity yet somehow we are.
Abbott should begin his wall building around Austin.
3 billion for a 120 MW power plant.
An Ex city council person who dreamed up this idea got a really good job.
