I always suspected Jimmy was actually a high IQ, highly intelligent and sophisticated thinker. Stands to reason he watches fellow geniuses on TV such as Don Lemon, Wolf Blitzer, Joy Reid and Jake Tapper.

I was young (20), a sophomore in college. My whole family were Democrats, as most were in the South those days, and I was a southern boy. My Dad grew up in SW Georgia about 60 - 70 miles from Plains, so it was partially a “he is one of us” things.
I have regretted that vote ever since, but long ago repented and turned from my wicked ways. . . . I really, really got steamed at Carter when he started vocally undermining Reagan’s Central America policies aimed at containing communism. Up until Carter, previous president’s kept their mouths shut. He started a bad trend. On the bright side, it has enabled Trump to fight.

That ancient days photography of Jimmy panicking and frantically hitting and splashing at the rabbit emerging from the river water toward his boat was a true artifact of early viral media. Dramatic and thrilling as he saved his life (barely) from a bunny.
