IKR? What you mentioned is right up there with grey or salt & pepper hair and a deep, reassuring voice. All essential qualities in a modern passenger airline pilot.
It’s probably been at least that for me for commercial.
Haven’t missed it.
I’ve ridden on the EAA B17 and Tri-Motor since.
For a while, I was a member of the local EAA chapter, no one seemed to notice except for a couple of people. I helped do a little cleanup on the B25 at Owens Field in Columbia.
Groucho Marx said he wouldn’t join any club that wouldn’t have him as a member. I join and no one notices except at dues time.
ON the flip side Canada is grounding any pilots that have been vaccinated due to complication and the fact the vax is not an approved medicine.
Wasn’t it just last week that two British Airways pilots died within 48 hours of having rec’d the employer-mandated “vaccine”?

The airlines can’t fly without pilots.
Let them push the issue and see what happens to their business.
If those pilots were wise in investing, they’d be sitting pretty financially right now and don’t need to work.
so let them quit/strike/ whatever, but taking the shot is career suicide, especially if they come up with some kind of problem.
Either way, they are out a job. At least if they don’t take the shot, they can still pass the physicals and fly for someone else.
I’ve pretty successfully eschewed commercial flying since the advent of the TSA.

They will be grounded until there’s such a pilot shortage from pilots who can no longer fly because of the damage the vax has done, that they will have all the hours they can handle.
