The reason for re-education was that the Communist, just like today’s leftists, did univocally believed in their theories.
Marx and Lenin writings were like Torah to them, every letter was the Truth.
Students learned the writings in schools.
As such, anybody who disagreed with them was basically an idiot, mentally ill, misinformed, heretic or corrupt enemy, agent of the imperialists.
They were staying in the way of progress! Trying to remove the paradise for everybody else!
Re-educating them in the proper way of thinking was the best way to return them to the proper path. They were actually doing them a favor.
If they refused to be re-educated, then they had to be dealt in the harshest way.

Yesterday I drove by a sign that said, ‘Pray for Peace and Justice.’ I immediately thought through the logic of praying for those words. Justice has come to mean such a violent thing at the hands of men. Forgiveness has fled the world’s discourse. Justice rarely brings peace. Peace only arrives when there is forgiveness. Seeking justice for sins against your ancestors is not justice. The justice being sought only comes through forgiveness of the past and not punishing the today or the future.

In the early days of a communist dictatorship the opponents are simply slaughtered. There is no time for re-education. Succumb or die.
The test of the population’s will to push back is coming, most likely with respect to vaccination. Submit or lose your job, your social standing and be totally ostracized. You may even have to show an identifying tattoo or mark when outside your home. You will be denied access to public facilities and possibly medical care.
Once the population succumbs to the vaccine passport, the round up of guns will be easy. There may be a few resisters, but they and their extended families will be dealt with brutally as examples. Then comes the appropriation of property and savings. Hence the drumbeat for reparations. The only way to redistribute massive wealth for reparations is to take it.
If you don’t think it is happening imagine yourself as today as one of the January 6 nonviolent protestors who entered the Capitol out of curiosity. You now sit in a prison cell. You have lost your job, friends, family and your life savings is being eaten up by lawyers who are unable to secure your release from custody on bail. As soon as your money is gone the ineffective paid lawyer will resign the case leaving you to a public defender paid by the government currently keeping you locked up without due process. The Constitutional guarantee of a speedy trial is out the window. Who knows when or if you will go to trial? The “evidence” against you is not being shared with you or your attorney for “security” reasons which your government says override your constitutional rights. The “impartial” judge who will hear your case is doing nothing to ensure your rights are protected. Every day prosecutors tell you if you will confess to crimes you did not commit, and agree to testify against others for crimes you did not observe, they will provide you with a path out of the hell you are living through. Even if you submit and take their path out you will be branded for life and unemployable forever. Life for you as a free man or woman is over.
Where are all of the gun owners who claim they will use the weapons to fight a tyrannical government? The fist of tyranny is being wielded today against hundreds with no opposition from politicians, organizations, or citizens. Bill Ayers once said 20 million would have to die to implement the revolution he wanted. The implementation of Bill’s dream is underway and the armed descendants of the armed citizens who stood against the most powerful army in the world on Lexington green are sitting at home probably drinking a beer watching televised sports events where multimillionaire athletes show disrespect to the nation’s flag because they are oppressed.
Meanwhile those who protested the stealing of an election rot in prison without trial.
Oh look...another country with a ‘strike force.’ Does it not stun anyone the language used around the world is the same! From Build, Back, Better to the use of Strike Force? What is happening to us is just a microcosm of a global event.

There is a time and place for use of force. A small group of armed patriots trying to break out the Jan 6 political prisoners will just result in more prisoners. It is going to take a massive pooch screw by the fedgov like a national gun grab to start another revolution or CWII.

This talk of reeducation reminds me of John Milius’ Red Dawn, in which the non-cooperating population of a Colorado town taken over by Marxists are put into camps for their reeducation. Two of the young rebels visit their dad in the camp outside the barbed wire and he yells “Avenge me!”
