Thank you for posting. I am glad he was able to do this for his children and glad they are high functioning and can do this.
Having special needs child can make life extremely difficult. The people who spend their lives caring for them are absolute heroes.

For many years my mom trained teens with learning disabilities to work various jobs, often in restaurants. They loved their jobs. One of the problems employers would have with some of them was that they would go to work sick sometimes. One punishment for going to work sick or going to work on a day off was to not be allowed to go to work for a few extra days.
