UAW is the last war. The average car labor cost is only 7-8% of the sticker price. Even for union labor.
As of Oct 30, 2020, the average annual pay for an UAW in the United States is $52,771 a year. Just in case you need a simple salary calculator, that works out to be approximately $25.37 an hour. This is the equivalent of $1,015/week or $4,398/month.
