I was very disappointed this time. I thought we really had a chance to take a gold in the men’s individual foil.
America’s first gold medal ever in individual foil went to one of our women, Lee Kiefer.
Hungary’s Aron Szilagyi won sabre gold for the third Olympics in a row, an incredible achievement. It will be some time before we see his like again. A great fencer, and a great sportsman.

I remember when Will Smith was in the Fresh Prince of Bel air and his cousin came home from a fencing practice and Will Smith said, 'In my neighborhood, we don't practice fencing, we know where they are.'
Fencing could be an Olympic sport, so could the 60" TV grab and carry. Inner city Utes could get the GOLD... 🤓
