We will never vote our way out of this tyranny.
Great point. This should be pointed out at every opportunity. As should the campaign’s and media’s hiding of his mental state issues in 2020.
We have the second worst gas tax in the nation...and our roads suck.
It’s also worth noting that cars produce almost zero wear and tear on the roads. It’s all the heavy trucks.
We are undermanned and can't even keep up with normal business.
Easy: Only elite progressives get a car. And it’s electric. And everyone else has to walk. See how easy that was?
I’d trailer a storm generator and gas cans for road trips, continuous charge!
Tommy the Commie’s tax is a gift to the major metros and a tax on the red bits of PA.
Deep State’s war on the ‘burbs and rural bits continues.
In 10 years we’ll be inundated with progressive whining about the environmental impact of electric cars. Electric pickups will been demonized for sucking too much power.
even if we could.
we won’t be allowed to.
How about china? They gonna cut their emissions in half?
Let ‘em ride bikes.
Every Climate Change believer needs to sell their car and stop flying.
“.....in a bid to cut greenhouse emissions in half by 2030”
Oh?????? Where will the electricity have to come from? How much extra fossil fuel will have to be used in order to generate, transmit, store and convert this electricity?
Let’s cut the leftists in half instead.
With an environmentally friendly? ELECTRIC band saw?
Is the Beast now electric?
And then there’s the much higher maintenance costs associated with these vehicles, Not to mention that typically they do not last as long as conventional fuel vehicles.
It’s another end run on both personal freedom and private ownership.
It’s absurd. You have to wait about 2 hours to get a charge IF you find a place you can hook up to.
Replacing 40% of the fossil-fuel powered cars on the road today with battery-only EVs would require the construction of an additional 80 nuclear power plants.
They would be hard pressed to select the building sites, negotiate the purchases and complete the environmental impact studies for those 80 additional power plants before the end of the decade, much less get them financed, built and on line. Not to mention boosting the carrying capacity of the national electric grid by on the order of 32% (else they'd have to ship all those new electrons to the end user via USPS).
So what are those millions of EVs supposed to use for a power source when there isn't sufficient fuel to run them on?
California has banned the sale of some newer games from Dell, etc.
THEY USE TOO MUCH ELECTRICITY!!!!!!!!
