The father of the police officer who is in serious condition had words with the mayor. To paraphrase he told her she had blood on her hands.
I wonder if Ella French was a White officer, and if so was NOT afforded a sympathy call by the mayor to her surviving family as a result?
I’m “guessing” that those 3 KILLERS are BLACK since there are no names or pictures`posted. Am I wrong???
Without reading a single word about the shooting I would put $100 on the shooter being black. Any shooting, any day, it’s always the way to bet. Some will say that this observation is ‘racist’. I really no longer care. It’s just a simple fact, and I’ll no longer ignore it.
A society deserves the leaders they elect and work for. That’s so perfect for....Chicago as Detroit. Good on them. Nobody is planted. Even Lott had to leave and should have earlier.

Sorry, Lori Lightfoot, guns don’t cause crime, BLACKS DO. A police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be shot & killed by black man, than an unarmed black man is to be killed by a cop. Nationally blacks make up 13% of the population but commit 53% of all murders. Of the 75 largest counties in the U.S., blacks make up 15 percent of the population, but account for 62% of robberies; 57% of murders and 45% of assaults. In New York City blacks account for 23% of the population, but commit 75% of all shootings. By contrast, whites make up 34% of the population but account for 2% of shootings. In NYC, Chicago & LA where blacks make up 20-26% of the population they commit 75-86% of all murders. In 2019 there were 60,000,000 encounters with Police, 10,300,000 arrests were made & 41 “unarmed” people were shot & killed by police. 19 “unarmed” whites, 9 black. 7 of the 9 “unarmed” blacks were assaulting police with deadly force. In the 2 unjustified shootings the cops were charged. Those 2 are 0.02% of blacks killed. 29.3% of blacks killed are killed by other blacks, 7400 blacks killed by blacks last year. Until people stop the hoax about “systemic police racism” where cops are systematically killing unarmed black males & we get to the real conversation; how to improve the black family dynamic, poverty, education in poor neighborhoods, and personal responsibility, liberal whites will continue assisting some blacks in spreading a “systemic” myth & no one will be better for it. Democrats are making EVERYONE less safe.
It is not guns. Do not try to blame guns. It is democrat mayors who the crud know will probably let them get away with it that causes the problem. Look all over this country. The cities with democrat mayors have the worst incidence of gun crimes.

A group of Chicago police officers turned their back on Mayor Lori Lightfoot when she visited their wounded colleagues at the hospital on Saturday night, reflecting the high emotions around policing in the city after two officers were shot on the South Side.
Lightfoot visited the University of Chicago Medical Center late Saturday after two police officers were shot in West Englewood. One of them, 29-year old Ella French, later died, while the other remains hospitalized.
A source with knowledge of the incident said Lightfoot was scolded by the father of the second officer who got shot while at the hospital. Lightfoot stood there and listened, according to the source.
Afterward, Lightfoot tried to approach a few dozen cops who walked away from her and kept their backs turned, the source said. The mayor then walked away, according to the source...
