Add to that I think the problem of COVID-19 vaccination discussion on FR is a small slice of what people are dealing with every day.
You have some people for COVID-19 vaccinations making awful comments about getting COVID-19. Almost a glee or “told you so” by some.
You have some people against COVID-19 vaccinations making awful comments as well, including mocking people for getting a vaccination.
It’s become a free-for-all. The moderators can’t keep up with it all. But it has coarsened the discussion, with so, so many discussions turning into flame wars.
Lately it’s been turning into “trust the experts” - on both sides. And if you don’t trust them, you’re apparently part of the problem.
My guess is that people who die from COVID were far more at risk of dying by the vaccine.
And even if they had taken the vaccine and survived it then there is no guarantee that they would not have caught Covid and died anyway.
It’s ironic he was “health obsessed”. People who obsess don’t look at things objectively.
Who does not think that there are paid disrupters here on FR?

The NY Post habitually ramps up the fear by finding the worst cases -— or what are called “cases” — and putting them at the top of the news. Newsmax does the same thing. So reports of cases conjure up images of people on respirators.

I know someone that happened to. Basically the hospital trapped them, refused to use FLCCC protocols, and he died.

He would have most likely lost them if they were vaccinated anyway. Where are the studies that prove vaccinated people get less sick then if they were not vaccinated?
As I recall the VA’s study of HCQ didn’t start with dosing until patients were on ventilators. Pretty much guaranteed the result they were looking for. I was POed after I read it. No wonder...

The one question I have for any doctor that had folks under their care, who ended up dying....What treatments did you use?
Were “alternative treatments”(HCQ, Ivermectin, etc) tried on the patients? Or were they just hooked up to a ventilator until they died?
A family in Buffalo had to sue the hospital that their mother, who was in a coma due to covid, was in, so they could try ivermectin. Hospital lost but they still refused. Had to go back to court to force hospital to let a doctor in that would care for the mother. Within days she was fine and left the hospital. Hospital countered the whole time that they and its doctors should be making the decisions.
I remember that. I hope they later sue the hospital.
