Perhaps this was the plan all along. Screw things up royally, humiliate the US, get some of our people killed, and suddenly we have troops in Afghanistan for another 20 years. Business is good for war profiteers.
I figured this out. He either has stock in the defense contractors, or he gets kickbacks.
So, we flee Afghanistan, and leave them billions of dollars of equipment. That’s stuff we can’t get back. So, if we have to go back in, we have to buy ALL NEW stuff! (And it’s good for him, and/or his family).
