“The only good thing I can say about Carter is at least he tried to rescue our hostages with the Delta Force.”

What about the other stuff that Barone mentions?

I was too busy driving 55 in a house with a thermostat set to 78 in the summer and a 12% 30 year mortgage to notice anything else ...

“Carter did order a perhaps overly intricate hostage rescue mission, which failed after one too many helicopters became inoperative.”

“Became inoperative” is RINO code for “blew up killing a whole bunch of our guys.”

Remember Carter’s s$%t eating grin, and his hugging of Brezhnev? Carter had a “hit me on the other cheek” complex when he got to power. He was pathetic.

Joe is perverted, dementated, corrupt, and arrogant. And, is in mental decline.

Which is worse: cancer or heart disease?

>>Carter let the ruskies do whatever they wanted and turned his back on the Shah and we know how that turned out!

And gave away the Panama Canal.

"As a presidential candidate, he took on George Wallace, who was previously unbeatable in the South, and beat him 34% to 31% in Florida. There's a lesson there perhaps for Republicans who would like to be president but are hesitating to take on Donald Trump."

Uh huh. Trump=Wallace in this guy's universe...

If I were to rank the post-war Democratic presidents:

1) Truman - dropped the bombs and stood up to the Soviets
2) Kennedy - some good, some bad. Died to soon to accomplish much
3) Clinton - I hated him, but his term was one of peace and prosperity and he made some good decisions to continue that
4) Carter - his four years was a series of disasters, but as this article points out he made some very good decisions that helped American in the long term
5) Obama - The only salvation was he know so little about anything he didn’t get much done
6) Biden - not much time to judge, but hasn’t done one good thing in 9 months
7) Johnson - Vietnam and the Great Society combined almost destroyed the nation.

Carter gave us IRAN... the gift that keeps on giving and has been the cause of most of the issues we have had to deal with globally since the Soviet Union Fell.

Carter came in with good intentions, ineffective but he tried to do good.
Biden doesn't even have that going for him.

Those who fought a revolutionary war to create this great country are probably wondering why they gave their last full measure so that idiots like this can destroy everything.

Carter is ranked way too high.

To put Carter anywhere but at or next to the bottom is to completely ignore IRAN and his complete miscalculation there that has created the islamofacist world we live in today

But he changed not only his mind but his policy, ordering a sharp increase in defense spending.

And cancelled the B-1 bomber.

Carter was president when my elders were youngsters. I’ve heard much of gas lines, hostages and malaise. But according to them he did exactly two laudable things:

1 served in the USN

So did John Kerry.

2 served to turn them into conservatives for life.

I was already there. I will allow he gave me ample incentive to remain one!

Carter, now available in senile:

Sure, but he also gave us Paul Volcker who ended inflation and gave us four decades of monetary stability.

He also made the decision to oppose the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan that ultimately brought down the USSR.

Those give him enough good to put him mid-tier.

Carter was incompetent, but there is no doubt that he loved this country and did not intentionally try to destroy it. I can’t say the same about Biden*.
