Here we go....

Started firing all the MAGA people who helped get him there...Sessions? Was he a MAGA person that helped him get there? The same Sessions that stepped aside because he was afraid of Rosenstein and Wiseman.

Or how about the MAGA SecDef, Mattis, who publicly disagreed with almost everything the President wanted to do and said he would have been honored to work with Clinton...that MAGA guy.

As for the Swamp Creatures he surrounded himself....he needed people in those jobs. He couldn’t be the President, SOS, Attorney General, SecDef, CIA Dir, FBI Dir all at once. McConnell and Schumer were only going to confirm who they wanted. The President played the hand he was dealt. And played it pretty good, as far as I’m concerned given all the opposition he had.

President Trump should have hired better, more loyal people. He should nominated better judges. He should have cured cancer, housed the homeless, fed the hungry and clothed those without clothes.

All while renegotiating trade deals, fighting Congress for everything-especially those in his “own” party, closing the border, implementing workarounds to get rid of Obamacare since McCain screwed him and us over, ACTUALLY securing Peace In the Middle East, replacing NAFTA, getting both domestic and foreign companies to open up shop in America again, rebuilding the military, securing a legitimate plan to get the US out of Afghanistan-something he wanted to do early on but got tons of pushback from both sides of Congress, dealing with foreign leaders who have been used to running roughshod over the US for decades and, finally, putting them in their places.....all while dealing the Day to Day issues of being President of the United States

Oh yeah.....dealing with a made up investigation and dealing with an impeachment, which would have sent others to prison for the lies they told.

At the end of the day, folks wanted him to do EVERYTHING. What many don’t seem to realize is that he actually played by the rules. He didn’t run roughshod over Congress with willing sycophants, like his predecessor did. He actually asked Congress, especially Congressional Republicans, to do what they told their constituents they were going to do. When they didn’t, he found a way around it all, legally. Again, unlike his predecessor.

Oh, yeah....all of that, still working til his last day in office, trying to get re-elected and dealing with virus and a government apparatus that was doing everything to get rid of him.

So, what would be the difference this time? He doesn’t have to worry about any of that sh*t. No constraints. He can tell Graham to go sh*t in a hat and do what he can to help whoever primaries him. He can go through there, clean house and after he’s done, walk away.

My 2cents. You disagree, obviously. That’s cool.

This is why there are primaries. Toomey’s opinion counts as much as everyone else’s.

The problem for anti Trump Republicans is very simple.

They don’t have anybody that can defeat Trump in the 2024 Republican Primary.

If Trump wants it “its his” and their isn’t a damn thing his enemies can do about it.

What would Mr. Toomey say is the definition of a "traditional Republican conservative coalition"?

Basically what we had in 2008 and 2012, and how did that work out?

Get off your knees Toomey.

Why does our side always have the schisms?

For the same reason there can be 10 Lutheran churches in a town of 2,500 people. Stubbornness and an unwillingness to cooperate defines conservatives. We're ALL right, everyone else is wrong.
