We could have keep and held Bagram with 2500 troops. Located near some of China’s major assets like its new ICBM fields, as well as southern Russia and Iran. Perfect spot for strategic Intel and oversight of adversaries.

Yeah but it’s Afghanistan. The American people is not willing to tolerate it anymore. That said, we should had kept the Bagram Airbase and fortify it like we did with the Guantánamo Bay Navy Base.
