Here, try this. Do these peaches taste a little off to you?
Watch “Six Feet Under.”
“Here lies the body of Simon Pease, buried beneath the flowers and trees, but Pease ain’t here, just the pod, Pease shucked out and went to God.”
Supposedly on the headstone of Simon Pease. Some say the headstone belongs to Willard Pease. Either way, a nice little inscription.
Soylent Green.
Oh my gosh, you should taste the tomatoes grown with that!
Just prepping for Soylent Green.
Burial is not for the dead, it’s for those who are living, and rightly so. I am comforted to know that my late husband’s body is in that sealed box under the ground with the grave stone for him and for me beside him when I die. it rests in a hillside cemetery next to one of the churches where we both preached for a combined 12 years. I loved that man soul and Body for 51 years. We protected each other during our life together and I am grateful to have that place where I know his body is where He & I wanted to rest our bodies. On the other means of disposing human bodies, my first born son died young and wanted to be cremated. I honored his wish, but it broke my heart.
My friend will donate his body to science after his death. It was a decision he and his family made together. I know finances played a big part in the decision.
Sky Burial! Like the Indians. Let the buzzards break down the remains
She’s “dead, Jim!”
Born in France in 1844, Bernadette Soubirous was brought to the attention of the Catholic church for her numerous visions of a woman who resembled the Virgin Mary. Church authorities later confirmed the apparitions were authentic. Bernadette died at the age of 35 in 1879 from tuberculosis. Her body was exhumed in 1919 during her canonization. According to the attending doctor, “The body is practically mummified, covered with patches of mildew and quite a notable layer of salts, which appear to be calcium salts… The skin has disappeared in some places, but it is still present on most parts of the body.” The body on display today is not all real. The hands and face are actually made of wax and were designed by Pierre Imans, a designer of fashion mannequins in Paris. Church officials believed her actual face had decayed too much and would be off-putting to visitors.
Incorruptible ?
I think not.
Do you think otherwise would be nutty.
