Cool, because this will make the eventual movie more fun to watch.

The amount of fully automatic gunfire in the streets of Minneapolis is shockingly high given America’s tight control of these weapons. What does that tell you about gun control?

You mean to say that criminals don’t follow laws and more gun control is NOT the answer?
Well...
I’m shocked! Shocked I say....

It is real hard tom tell by sound recordings if it is full auto or semi auto. Particularly if there are multiple people shooting semi-automatic weapons as a group. I doubt the time of flight software running in the shot spotter system can distinguish between two Glocks being fired from the windows of a car unless the car is very close to the microphones.

Well if the Somalis can get/convert full auto, the Afghanis will be right behind them. Question is who wins the race for the first RPGs and s.vests, belts?

Kudos to you for digging up a video clip from 'Robocop'. (Post 22)
I laugh when I think of Kurtwood Smith who played one of the bad guys in 'Robocop' also played the father, "Red Forman", on 'That 70s Show'.

It won’t be long before Omar finds Nuclear Weapons for her followers in Minneapolis.

So, by listening to a recording of gunfire from a crime scene, you can discern "Semi-autos converted to sub machine guns with auto sears".
How do you do that? How does that sound different from say, a stolen full auto weapon, or one smuggled into the country by the cartels?

My point is that there have been many reported incidents of full auto fire.
I have heard recordings of submachine gun fire. Whether they involve auto sear converted weapons or not really isn’t the issue.
Authorities are reporting the recovery of semi auto weapons that have been converted using auto sears.

The easiest sort of firearm to construct is an open-bolt submachine gun like the Sten or M3A1 Grease Gun. Just sayin’. That may well be true, if you're referring to setting up a production line for military-type weapons. For an individual putting together a single firearm for personal use, a single-shot smoothbore (for low pressure shotgun or handgun ammunition) is probably the "easiest sort of firearm to construct," using commonly available plumbing supplies...

...reports that 935 rounds have been fired as part of fully automatic strings based on data collected by the city’s ShotSpotter... I don't know how likely it would be, but the data could also possibly include "bump firing" with non-automatic weapons, which would likely be indistinguishable to the acoustic sensors. Obviously, either activity (assembling and firing an illegal automatic weapon, or "bump firing" a self-loading firearm) would probably be illegal in an urban environment...

Again.
Police have recovered semiautomatic weapons in Minneapolis that have been modified with autosears making them fully automatic.
