Schumer is one of the most clever politicians in Washington.

He represents a Marxist state in a party full of leftist lunatics, and yet his primary goal in all this is to protect his Wall Street bosses.

Schumer never wanted that $3.5 trillion spending bill. But as a Democratic Senate majority leader he has to pretend he does.

This is why he's cut deals with McConnell, Manchin and Sinema to make it look like they've got his hands tied.

When Newsweek compliments a Republican you know he’s an assistant Democrat.

The mark of a good con is getting away clean.

Let Cocaine Mitch do his job.

If Manchin had any gonads, he would have walked out on Schumer, given an impromptu press conference on the steps of the Capitol, and announced he’s now a Republican and given the majority back to the Republicans. Of course that won’t happen even for a Senator who is elected from one of the most Trump-happy states in the nation.

“He is therefore the best Senate Majority leader in my lifetime.”

How DARE you say that!!!

We have to continue to call him a RINO and Sellout so that we can feel important about ourselves, despite what he’s done for our side.

Mitch can be cagey so maybe there’s a point. But we’ve been back stabbed too many times.

“The media parades all the fat, lazy, and incompetent government workers whining about not getting Christmas, and the GOP has more moral support to capitulate.”

This was my first thought.

If Republicans can’t stand up when accused of stealing the joy of Columbus Day, how will they stand up when accused of stealing the Happy Holiday Season.

Manchin walking out of Schumer's gloat conference surprised me. I actually think he's closer to jumping than we think he is. Schumer will have to put the screws to him in order to pass this ridiculous reconciliation bill of the Communists. That might just do it.

While I'm in a dreaming mode, how glorious would it be for Manchin and Sinema to hold a joint presser announcing they are now independents and will caucus with the republicans? If the rats keep it up, well, dreams sometimes do come true.

Back story is Mitch caved so Manchin and Sinema wouldn’t nuke the fillibuster. They were under tremendous pressure to do so, and they told Mitch they couldn’t hold out much longer. That a default might be the last straw.

If true, hats off to Mitch.

Will this work out to Republicans' favor?

In the pre-Dominion days, Democrats would have had to answer for their decisions at the ballot box. So it used to work - but Mitch has not yet adapted to the new paradigm.

Even if true, any too-clever-by-half scheme is useless, due to the propaganda storm of the media and the inattention of the voters.

Three democrap steps forward on their agenda answered slowly and with reluctance by one republican step backward on the dim agenda and none on theirs. Somehow they call that winning.

Yeah, I’ve seen this crap the same amount of time as you have. It is what has put us in the ditch.

Yep, a sign of losing spirit. The perpetual and irrational negativity (by some) on FR is ...
well, negative.

It's very odd.

He’s an abomination.

Do you know the origin and meaning of that word ?

Calling Mitch McConnell an abomination could be an abomination in itself. President Trump and Senator McConnell have achieved more than any politicians in my lifetime to try to reverse the abomination of abortion, the murder of millions of innocent lives. Now it is also up to the Supreme Court (again), all of whom will stand before the King of the universe to be judged by their works, as will all of us. Thus, we should have a care and seek wisdom.

  • These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
  • A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
  • An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
  • A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Proverbs, Catholic chapter six, Protestant verses sixteen to nineteen,
as authorized, but not authored, by King James
