I’ve needed gas there a couple times over the years.
Sometimes I’m on of my little drives and just lose track everything...
I love Hwy 1
Wow, nearly $5.00 per gallon? What a deal!!
I paid 3.07 the other day in AZ...And the clerks were not from India, or Ustinkistan. ☺
Green New Deal Bernie and Company want it to go higher and higher. They believe people will drive less. Thank a Democrat.
Yeah, you're going through the King Ranch there, between Sarita and Raymondville.
You run into the same situation between Laredo and Freer - miles and miles of miles and miles.
Don’t forget to thank your politicians.
There are two gas stations in Orlando that are close to the airport. At any given time the price per gallon is double what is charged just 1/4 mile up the street. The business plan must be to catch rental car drivers who need to fill up before returning their cars at the airport.
At a restaurant parking lot next to one of the stations I overheard two travelers saying they were going next-door to fill up. Playing good neighbor Sam, I interrupted them and told them that if they did they would pay the highest gas prices in the US. I then directed them to two other stations a short distance north that had competitive prices.
I really feel sorry for the poor blokes who filled their tanks without looking at the price.
Pretty cool you can see this on google maps, looks like a cool place/drive.
It hits the grocery store in no small part because it hits the pump first. No gas, no groceries.
Oh stop with that Chamber of Commerce gibberish. Californian has a long history of ripping off tourist. What does it cost for a family to go to DisneyLand nowadays? $800++ a day? ☺
Understood. I drove it in a rental in the late 1980s but I somehow missed this place. :)
When I visited in 1987 with a AAA discount my ticket was about $20 for a single adult. Times have changed.
“High class problems”.
The free market is better than any alternative
$3.39 here in NY. Even NY is better than CA.
This is approaching the range the Left has wanted for a long
time. Gots to get those people out of their cars.
Are we going to see this same fear porn you previously posted for the same gas station 40 miles up the Big Sur, but at a slightly lower price?
Average price of gasoline in California on 10/21/21 is $4.45.....
Penalize petroleum.
Subsidize electric.
That’s the Biden plan.
