I think that being a "good Catholic" means that you subscribe to and try to abide by all Catholic doctrine and practice. Of course, most Catholics limit this to merely "taking Communion." As if swallowing is a virtue.

RE: Divorce a forbidden thing in the strict Catholic regulation books.

Heard an apparently oft quoted joke that a smiling Protestant minister shook the hand of a Catholic priest. “I wanted to thank you again for the huge numbers of converts from your faith thanks to the marriage and divorce rules.”

Their problem: 1) Marriage to non acceptable person-—absolutely not allowed. Get out and stay out.

2) Abortions that murder babies, and euthanasia and assisted suicide of elderly: Well, let’s not talk about that in church-—ever——and we welcome Pelosi and Biden who promote, enable, fund (with taxpayer money of those who oppose them) and support these. Welcome to communion, Nancy and Joe. You are good Catholics.

But good old Joe is on board for tight restrictions on Americans' freedom that will help the climate change matter. And will divert billions in tax dollars to illegal immigrants and "the poor" as welfare and Section 8. Charity to the least among us and all that.

Couple things...

First the vatican cancelled the live feed of his meeting with the Pope. They did not want to give him a full audience with the Pope due to his stand on abortion. And they were afraid the issue of communion would come up and were afraid of what Biden would say, and how the Pope would respond...

Second - rumor going around the reporters covering the G20 summit, is Biden had a “potty incident” during his meeting with the Pope and had to get cleaned up. Its why the so called meeting took so long.

Interesting. Wonder what the non-reported truth is behind all this.

My guess is if Biden said something to the Pope about abortion and communion and it got controversial, the Pope would blush and say "Please forgive me, Mr.President for what I just said." Joe would say "You are forgiven." and place his hand on the Pope's head.
