My bad. One leaves one group and joins another another.
After 30 years the mind becomes a bit fuzzy. Guess you might
say it becomes O’bidenized and a spreadsheet is needed. Still, it was a terrific tune
Only thing do know as fact is Moody Blues first hit was “Go Now” and they went a long way since.

Every song at that link is better than anything Moody Blues ever did.

But I linked to it to answer questions.

Oh and kids have “record collections.”

Do you like the Moody Blues but not Bob Dylan?

Last time I saw Graeme Edge, he was dining two tables away in the cozy restaurant during my birthday celebration. That was five years ago. RIP.

That’s cool that you recognized him! Not sure I would have been able to. What part of Florida do you live?

We attended Moody Blues concerts during US Spring tours many times over the years. Florida was often on the tour schedule in March. The Van Wezel in Sarasota was a frequent venue. Graeme Edge had a riverfront home in Bradenton.

The only “rock” concert I’ve ever attended was the Moody Blues with the NSO at Wolf Trap.

RIP.

bob dylan is an absolute bore- its simple music for the simple minded. Not wonder you prefer that crap over the Moody Blues.

John Lodge lives on the west coast of Florida as well- or at least has a home there.

He was posting videos from his home playing songs, etc through the summer of 2020 when most were locked down.

The moody blues were our back side of the peak band
Them and softer Floyd

Graham’s soothing English voice and literary lyrics just made everything good again after 5-6 hours of hanging on through an intense trip and the soundtrack of axis bold as love or the doors etc or lzii

The dead were also a nice come back down to earth band

In college we tried to mimic Kesey test

Pranksters but a method to the madness

The moody blues were pretentious but it made sense to some of us

I’m sorry he’s gone

I owe him in a small anonymous way

Man that hot riff in ride my seesaw

Everbody knows it

Sharp uptick and resets the chords

Great harmony and melody

See ya soon enough Mr Edge

There are no Bob Dylan songs at the links I posted.

Thanks for the ping. When I was young I didn’t know much of their music beyond the usual radio fare, but learned to appreciate them more later on. Lyrically and melodically they were top shelf. Excellent musicianship too. Class and professionalism all the way.
