Visible in his backpack was a can of saline solution which I believe I read is to help relieve the effects of tear gas. During Kyle’s breakdown on the stand, all could clearly see he was hyperventilating and that his face turned red. Other than experiencing a chemical reaction, there are only two things that I know of that will cause a persons face to turn red; either holding one’s breath or sincere emotions.
