I’m appreciative of Dollar General more and more now.

When I was growing up, stores like "Dollar General" and "Family Dollar" were called "dime stores" or "five- and ten-cent stores."

Democrats have ceded lower-to-middle-income blue collar workers to the Republican Party.

We’ll take them, along with blacks who’ve left the plantation, Hispanics who believe in border security, women with children who fear for their education, suburban men who have broken through the lower income wall, and business owners who care about building a life and a legacy without government interference.

The Democrats can have their elitists, their clueless academics, their sexually confused, their mentally ill, their out-of-touch billionaires, their cloistered, ill-informed urban types, their BLM/ANTIFA fiery-but-peaceful loons, and their media cheerleaders.

See how it works out for both sides...

As a matter of fact, the groceries are the basic expenditures. Poor people spend most of their money on groceries. As people get richer, the groceries became smaller portion of their budget. So grocery inflation is really tax on the poor.

Haha!!...Well I'm a dude..

So it's kinda weird you remind me of "her"...

But let's move on...I'm not gay..and I make more money than her, per year.

Depends on where you live...what $200k make's you upper middle class $$$ in some cities....counties, states...etc..

If you don't know that....well, so be it... I don't know a lot of things either.

And I get she’s never had beans and rice and cornbread for dinner

Back in the 50s my father was between jobs(coal miner to steelworker) I can remember vividly four of us sharing a can of Campbell's pork and beans for dinner.

I hit $200 for two and a half bags of groceries the other night because I bought meat (nothing fancy) and vitamins.

Don’t spray pesticide on the lawn…those dandelion greens are good, healthy eating. Chop them up and put em in your rice and beans.

Her statement is literally true, but in a way that doesn’t mean what she implies it means. Most of the US population has enough wealth to absorb the increased prices...until they don’t. It eats up savings, and destroys that wealth as well as future wealth. When we can no longer afford it, we are done for, one by one.

Parents had friends who made Dandelion Wine. Sweet and smooth going down. He kept it in a root cellar.

Amen! And those of her group will not have the intelligence to adjust and cope. They will be among the first to die. Perhaps it will be from starvation or it will be from not having the will to live. Either way, they will be equally dead.

Razor blades have always been expensive. My grandfather had a razor blade sharpener for the old double-edged "safety razor" blades that looked like this. I think he got it around WW I. We had it for years after he passed, but my dad got rid of it when he downsized their house. Wish I still had it!

Imagine trying to sharpen one of today's five or seven blade monstrosities!
