United States through 23 months — ( 763,092 deaths since beginning of pandemic / 331,002,651 ) x 100 = 0.23 %
Something more than two tenths of one percent of the American population is said to have died “from” and “of” SARS CoV2 in almost 23 months.
Oddly, in the same period and using the same source:
China through 23 months — ( 4,849 deaths since beginning of pandemic / 1,439,323,776 Chinese citizens ) x 100 = 0.0033 %
An almost infinitesimal number of Chinese dead from the same virus is documented. No scientific explanation for the vast discrepancy has been offered that I have seen.
Here is a time line of some details within the pandemic from the outset:
“On 23 January 2020, Drosten, along with other virologists in Europe and Hong Kong, published a workflow of a real-time PCR (RT-PCR) diagnostic test, which was accepted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and which sent test kits to affected regions.

On 23 March 2020, The Guardian described Drosten as “the [German] country's real face of the coronavirus crisis”, and also noted that the Süddeutsche Zeitung had described Drosten as ‘the nation's corona-explainer-in-chief’. He was a counterpart to Lothar Wieler, head of the State's Robert Koch Institute in Berlin, in consulting to German federal and state authorities.”

The same Wiki article details: “In 2003, Drosten was one of the co-discoverers of SARS-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV).”
The World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020. About two months after the CoV2 test was coded and accepted.
Thus, as far back as 2003 “science” was working with SARS CoV virus. And the Wuhan lab along with the US were researching this family of viruses to include mutants. And seventeen years later....
In January of 2020 the PCR “workflow” was written in computer code by Drosten and accepted by the WHO. The DNA sequence was supposedly provided by the Chinese, who have since destroyed their data.
In February of 2020, Drosten and a group prophylactically declare the SARS Cov2 was “natural.” Not from US or Chinese labs. How would they have known this before a pandemic was declared? Or validated it?
In March of 2020 the WHO officially declares the pandemic. Drosten is elevated to “the real face of the coronavirus crisis.” In all the back and forth on this thread the CoV2 PCR test has been said to be accurate and also bogus.
It is assured that as of this month, the “pandemic” has hit the United States very hard, in asserted deaths — “from” and “with” — while China is almost untouched. No explanation has been made.

When thinking on the enormous difference between the US and China as regards SARS CoV-2, the media, the comments on this thread, and many governments have been SILENT.
0.0033 % of the population dead in China versus 0.23 % in the US (and 0.120 % in Germany) is a data point which is enormous. And ignored. As yet.
As with the odd time line for the Drosten test based on Chinese base data coding, and the media hysteria and angry exchanges in this thread, there is a odd thing.
The world's overall death rate from this “pandemic” is a measly 0.0645 % of the people of the globe.
Obviously, the official data is incorrect somewhere along the last two years. Massively incorrect.
Thankfully the NY Daily News can ridicule a death as editorial. Hmm.
They are in such denial they can’t even say he died of Covid. “He went to be with the Lord” is true, but first he died of Covid. When you make something a test of faith, it’s hard to admit you were wrong.

Holy smokes, after reading through the comments I had no idea we had so many misinformed crazies here.
From his picture, he looked thin. One could reasonably assume that he was a type 1 diabetic (no details in the article). Any prolonged fever can cause a type-1 diabetic to go into ketoacidosis, which can be fatal. Most hospitals don’t know how to treat type-1 patients. I’m type 1 myself, and I was once told by a nurse to avoid going to the local ER for any fever related illness, because I might not make it out alive.
