With emphasis on arrogant. Having grown up in NYC I know these people and I hope they get a touch of the evil they created. I won't be joining prayer circles when it comes their way.

Usually the Christmas season is a great time to be walking around NYC. I was there last Wednesday and it's not the same. The Christmas spirit is just not there. People are keeping their heads down and hurrying to their destinations. A lot of people are still wearing those infernal face masks and it makes them look like space aliens or absent-minded surgeons.
City government is not making it very pleasant to be in NYC. Now they are looking to put their jackboot to whoever decides to stick it out.

The damaged stores should stop collecting and remitting sales taxes - and dare the city to do anything about it. They are not getting the services their customers are paying for.

When the covid crap and last years riots kicked into high gear a guy down the street from my brother sold his house in one day. Sight unseen, not walk through. Nothing. House went for over $1million. Buyer paid cash. That was happening all over Long Island, SW Connecticut, the North Jersey suburbs and Westchester County and north.
From what I’ve been told, they’re ruining Ulster and Sullivan County. These folks move in, snatch up everything, raise taxes through the roof and force everyone out. Same thing they’re doing in Boise, Atlanta and surrounding area, Boazman, Kalispell and lots of other places around the country.
They’re gross humans.
Just part of a diverse city.
As if this is a new thing.
We were vacationing in SF in the 80s and had parked near Frederick’s of Hollywood. It was a short drive back to the hotel where we’d walked in and turned on the tv to see we’d just missed being mobbed by dozens of gays who’d rushed Frederick’s and stole everything including the fixtures.
