Having weakened a robust development of natural immunity, with mass vaccination for rhino viruses (viruses obtained and spread via breathing through the nose), they have created societies over dependent on vaccinations. By stupidity or on purpose?
If the scientific and medical priorities had always been set with the highest priorities on finding successful treatments, more than on vaccines, natural immunity would have prospered more robustly, as infected persons who have overcome illness from the infection usually have more robust immunity than that afforded by the vaccines. A society populated by stronger natural immunity will have systems that handle new viral attacks better.
Contrary to the public relations agendas about vaccines for rhino viruses, your immune system is NOT designed, and does not work, on the basis of knowing every possible viral or bacterial agent before hand. Your immune system is predicated on, and designed on the basis of, your immune system developing agents against attacks it has never seen before. It is actually doing exactly that every day, as there are many millions of viruses and bacteria that can make us ill and we have never as individuals encountered all of them. Once we are ill due to a virus or bacteria our immune system goes into overtime testing and finding the right combinations of antibodies that will subdue the attacker. What medicine is mostly doing is protecting us from the most dire symptoms of the illness, trying to keep our systems strong enough for the fight our immune system is mounting. This may be a minor or a major fight, but in the end it is our immune system that has won. And in winning it has recorded the tools it used, and it can use and modify and adapt them again and again.
So - if a virus is not fatal to 90+ % of the population 90+ % of the time, why are we focused on vaccines and not treatments??? That 10% of the serious illness category REQUIRE treatment while the other 90% will get their natural immunity if they get infected at all without serious illness. Those successfully treated will have theirs via their treatment helping them ward off the infection.
They think they’re beyond responsibility.
