I'm beginning to think so too. According to the CDC, 76.7% of the population of the state of Washington age 12 and above have now been "fully vaccinated." For that portion of the population age 65 and above, the figure is 91.2%. Some 60.7% of Washington's population age 65 and above have now gotten the so-called "booster," if the CDC's figures are to be believed, which is one of the better rates in the country.
Not sure where Inslee is getting his "34%" number from, but the reaction of these hysterical pols, at this point, is pretty telling. The vaccines are hot garbage, and no level of "compliance" is going to change that.

In Washington state, Covid fatalities for healthy people under age 60 are equal to the average fatality rate for influenza.
Protect the aged and the infirm.

The only good thing about Reichsfuhrer Inslee is that he can’t run again. Washington’s state constitution limits the governor to 3 terms. If we can survive till 2024, we can get rid of this bastid....
IF he doesn’t use his ‘emergency powers’ (which the liberal idiots in the 7 counties that control the rest of the state voted to give him) to suspend the state constitution and declare himself ‘governor for life’...
And IF we can find a pro-freedom candidate that actually has a chance to defeat whoever the state Dem party nominates to run in ‘24...
And IF we can stop the vote fraud that King County will certainly attempt to foist on us...

What do we expect from a liberal but terrorism with mandates and lockdowns?
Before you think to impose vax mandates, Mr. Inslee, why don’t you authorize a full, complete, and transparent audit of your income over the last 3 years, just to make sure that you are not unduly influenced by any of the big pharma corporations.
It is certainly understood that the first amendment has some reasonable limitations on citizens and is, indeed, illegal past a certain point.
However, what has yet to be codified is the limitations of government officials in terms of what they may specifically say about citizens who are simply exercising their God-given free-will and freedom under the US Constitution.
For instance, “fighting words” have been defined by the Supreme Court as words that “by their very utterance, inflict injury or tend to incite an immediate breach of the peace. It has been well observed that such utterances are no essential part of any exposition of ideas, and are of such slight social value as a step to truth that any benefit that may be derived from them is clearly outweighed by the social interest in order and morality.”
Just because someone is, for instance, a Governor, does not mean that they can just say anything they want about a person or a group of people, especially to include implied threats of violence against people who have committed no legal or moral offense.
It may well be that a Governor is through their actions and utterances or, indeed, their inactions (such as with recent riots, looting, and destruction in many places) is properly labeled a terrorist, or at the very least violated the legal definition of “fighting words”.
This would be an interesting area of legal exploration, one in which our Constitutional founders did not fully anticipate.
What Inslee appears to be saying is “Won’t somebody please rid me of these pesky unvaccinated citizens?”. If I lived in Washington State, I would expect him to be called to account for such accusations.
Its a “Jussie Smollett” move on the part of government to cast itself as victim - using fake health statistics, fake vaccine efficacy information, with the implied intent of bringing violence upon free individuals who have made a reasonable choice (even if it were unreasonable, it would not matter) to delay or refuse these vaccines.
Even if the vaccines were exhaustively studied and demonstrated beyond all reasonable doubt to be 100% effective and 100% safe, it is not governments role to threaten it’s citizens, in a terroristic manner, if they do not choose of their free will to accept them.
Sure does... Accurate comparisons like these are why they are hell bent on erasing history.

Great point. I'm all for a Constitutional Amendment that clearly articulates the limits of government officials' speech and actions, and, perhaps, the penalties associated with violating these limits.
Even if such an Amendment fails, it would be useful for the voting public to see which of their elected officials vote for and against such an Amendment.
Inslee is such a drama queen.
